AFGHANISTAN TEMPORARY RELIEF PROGRAM (KANDAHAR PROVINCE)
BARAN has implemented Afghanistan Temporary Relief Program (ATRP) with objectives of support women of poor families through cash payment to increase income of families and prevent/decrease morbidity of diseases relate with malnutrition and poverty.
According to ATRP, each female client at HF could to receive amount of 500 AFS/once when she has come to HF for any consultation or vaccination of herself or her child.
The project has been implemented through a network of 64 BPHS’ HF including 1 District Hospital (DHs), 25 Comprehensive Health Centers (CHCs), 18 Basic Health Centers (BHCs) and 21 Sub Health Centers (SHCs) in Kandahar province.
The project is funded by Afghanistan government through Ministry of Public Health, started in November 2018 and ended on July 2019.
