BARAN has implemented BPHS in Badgees province in partnership with Move Welfare Organization with the objectives of reducing maternal and newborn mortality, reducing under five mortalities and improving child health and nutrition. BARAN is qualified by SCI (Save the Children International) for the implementation of INMNC project in Kandahar province. The project aimed to build the capacity of staff and community-based workers; support the Public Nutrition Department (PND) of the MoPH and developing a gender-sensitive national nutrition training package for doctors-nurses and midwives of health facilities as well as CHWs and Family Health Action Groups (FHAGs) at the community level.
